The Journey Has Just Begun.. Come On The Journey With Me?

My reason for wanting to lose weight:
I have Supra ventricular Tachycardia and Sleep Apnea.

About me:
I am a young [31 year old] woman with a long life ahead [God willing].

I have a 5 year old daughter who is very active and loves to exercise, which I am ashamed to admit, she does not get from me.

I AM CHANGING THAT SELF!

I recently met a WONDERFUL Christian man, Dennis. He loves me for me, and has told me if I want to lose weight he will support me, even though to him I am beautiful. [Can I borrow his eyes for a while? 'Cuz I don't see it!]

Dennis and I met November 3rd, 2008, on Tagged. He asked me to be his girlfriend November 7th, 2008. On November 8th, 2008, we met in person. We have spent every chance we can get together. We are preparing to marry November 7th, 2009. [Yes, it's been love at first sight for the both of us!]

How I will change ME:
From now on, I will not allow myself to eat because I am bored or sad! Instead, I will talk to someone or read my Bible.

From now on, I will not allow my daughter to play the whole day as I sit on the pc or watching tv. Instead, I will join her for at least a half hour, to start!

From now on, I will be more conscience of what I eat and drink. I will incorporate more fruits/vegetables/water and less fats/sweets.

From now on, I will put the fork/spoon down between bites, chew slower, tasting each bite, and let my body tell me when it's full, not my mouth!

From now on, I will OMIT the word "plan". Plans change and fall through! Instead I am going to say, "will".

In closing:
I have taken some photos of me to see the progress I will make.

My Goals:
My goal is to lose 23 lbs.
The date I prefer to lose it by the site will not allow for, so I have set it for March 31, 2009, instead of the original goal date of Jan 1.

Mini Goal 1 - 225 lbs by 3-31-2009

Mini Goal 2 - 200 lbs by 6-29-2009

Mini Goal 3 - 185 lbs by 9-27-2009

End Goal - 185 lbs [or less] by 11-7-2009 [My Wedding Date]

My Program:
I will drink more water, and no kool-aids and teas.
I will play for a half hour each day with Ruby.
I will fit in more walking and hopefully include Dennis and Ruby.
I will make healthier food choices and eat more fruits and vegetables.

Personal Information:
Dennis is my fiancÚ.
Ruby is my 5 year old daughter.
They are my inspirations, not my reasons for doing this.

Other Information:
My Motto - Once you know me, you never forget me.

My goal:
To have people see "less" of me!
