Finding My Motivation

January 2014 - I'm now 18 months out from my wedding day and I've got a goal to lose about 40 pounds by then. With the Graves disease complicating things, I'm not sure it will be possible, but I'm going to try. I'll need to lose between 2 and 3 pounds a month. Wish me luck!

2014 GOALS

NEW WEIGHT GOALS:
- 180 lbs by August 10
- 170 lbs by October 19
- 160 lbs by December 28
- 150 lbs by March 8, 2015

OTHER GOALS:
- weigh in every Wednesday
- incorporate more veggies into the diet
- continue consistent strength training
- do more yoga
- increase lifting weight for at least one muscle group, every month
- keep up with the healthy recipe options
- plan for weekly freezer cooking day
- drink less soda, even the diet stuff
- track nutrition, in addition to fitness
- burn at least 3000 calories a week
- get thyroid levels under control W/O SURGERY!

As I read some of your blogs it was striking the number of similarities I found between us! I also have been diagnosed with Grave's and LOVE Les Mills classes! I hope that things are going well for you and I look forward to reading more of your posts

I saw you on the 20 Somethings group. You are really kicking butt. Its inspiring to see someone on SP that is continuously losing weight and sticking to their goals.

hey! thanks so much for the info~ i'll definitely have to take a look!!! yeah it's like at this point, there's only one month. well actually i just looked at a calendar, and it's 5 weeks. that's actually quite a bit of time. definitely at least 3-5 lbs worth (if i actually work at it, haha!) thanks for keeping me informed! i loved the challenge, as well! really helps keep the motivation going.
