Due to my neck injury and voluntarily surrendering my Ford Focus,I am just STUCK....and i've started taking walks, but i need a buddy. I am not the type to stay in every single day, but up here in the mountains you NEED a car to get anywhere.
Oh boy....it's been since 9-09-09 ~ i just get bummed....new to this.. I want to get dedicated. I really need to.

In case you have not read my blog saying so, I want to let you know personally that I am leaving SP at the direction of God's Spirit in me. Not sure what the future holds, but I sense that the time spent here is needed for that work that is coming to me.

I've been praying about what to leave my friends with as I prepare to leave SP. As I sit here today, knowing that I need to speak with each of you before I go, the thing in my heart is just to tell you like it is. I will miss you here on Spark. Spark is a very uplifting and positive environment, and that is because of friends like you. I will miss you, but I will not forget you. I am printing out my friend list with your pictures / icons and username on it, and I will be praying for you.

I have put a link to my FaceBook page on my blog for those who would like to stay in touch there, and I reset my privacy settings so you can friend me. Be sure to include your username in a message on the friend add so I will know who you are. Also, if you would like to receive my devotionals and articles, you can send me an email address via my SparkMail and I will add you to my mailing list for Darlene's Ponderings. Whether we meet up on FB or in our futrure I have you in my heart and will continue to hope for your good progress in life.

As for the "how?" I won't rewrite my twenty tips here but they are on my page and I've been blogging about each one weekly. In a nutshell, it's the "same old, same old" and it works: portion control, cardio and strength training. Plus one more thing: PERSEVERANCE, because if I don't stick with it, day after day, I will just wind up looking as I used to...

Have you set your goals yet? I know for me, to put my thoughts on paper, or on the computer somewhere, really helped to solidify my resolve. I can easily check out where I want to be and how I want to get there!
Anyhoo...Welcome back to Spark People! I'm looking forward to getting reaccquainted and traveling this journey together!
