I now see that I CAN do this! I CAN, U CAN, WE CAN!!!!!!!!!

I'm Kathy! I was here before and lost quite a bit (30 +)then became pregnant with my 3rd child and regained all the weight back (plus some~I got up to 254~that is what I weighed this time last yr) I had diabetes with the 2nd and 3rd pregnancy and around August of last yr~2011~I had to go on diabetes meds while not pregnant and really should have been on them much earlier than that but ANYHOW....that was scary and I started watching what I ate and really cutting back on carbs and started ...

Then slowly after we stopped walking I started the bad eating habits again then I stopped my meds then, then, then...So it was more staying around 234. Then this fall (2012) I have started back on track and lost about 10 lbs then started here on sparks and I am back and ready to give it another go. So that puts me starting at 224 as of Oct. 18 2012

MINI GOAL 10/18/12--12/13/12 (I like mini goals)
I started here on sparks with an 8 wk diabetes challenge and my goals were to excercise 6x's/wk., Reduce unhealthy carbs., drink all water, and to aim for a 16 lb weight loss. (which may be high expectations or unreasonable~but I can aim) update 12.6.12~Goal met one wk ahead of schedule! yay

10/18/12~224 (challenge starting weight)
10/25~ 222 DID IT!
11/01~ 220 DID IT!
11/08~ 218 DID IT!
11/15~ 216 DID IT!
11/22~ 214 DID IT!
11/29~ 212 DID IT! weigh in=210 lbs
12/06~ 210 DID IT! weigh in=208 lbs
12/13~ 208 DID IT! Ahead of schedule---
16 lb goal! Can't wait(will post photo @ this goal)

UPDATE: my 16 lb goal was met 1 wk early..yay! I actually made a goal, stuck to it and saw RESULTS...I can, can, can!! now onto...

2nd mini goal~lose down to 199 by New Yr! Starting Date 12.06.12

My Goals:
10.18.12~My goal is to aim for 2lb loss each week till I lose 50lbs then I will re access for another 50.

12.08.12~UPDATE...so far I am ahead of schedule for the 1st major goal of a 50 lb loss...I have lost 2 lbs each wk plus a little extra which has me at one wk and 2lbs ahead.

My Program:
Plan to exercise 5x's /wk eat more veggies and less junk. I track my calories and do my best to stay at the high end range. I like to do mini challenges within my teams to keep going and motivated... because I know litte by little I CAN do what I have set out to do.

Personal Information:
I am a small town Tn girl who believes in Jesus Christ, homeschools my 3 children, and dotes over my husband. I am always too busy to take care of myself, but that all has to change because if I don't, I won't be here to take care or enjoy my family.

Hey there! I have made you a friend. How have you been doing? I have made my water and to gym three days, not doing great on food. I plan to rejoin the 28 day challenge when this one is done.
