After a little less than a year, with the help of my Spark friends and Jenny Craig, I lost the 52 pounds I'd wanted gone baby gone! Now I have the challenge of maintaining, of making healthy habits a lifestyle change instead of just a fad diet. It's a challenge, but I'm working on it, and one thing I've learned is that I can do it if I put my mind to it!

My Goals:
Maintain, maintain, maintain - and make sure it's part of my life. I also need to incorporate exercise as a normal part of my day.

My life schedule has altered dramatically - I watch my young niece and nephew during the day and work retail at night, so I get little sleep and little time to exercise. I'm working on carving out time to handle the chores (laundry, dishes, etc.) while also getting time for what i enjoy (computer time, television and reading time) and time to exercise and plan my day. I'm definitely learning the value of nap time!

My Program:
I still talk to my awesome Jenny Craig consultant, although we speak once a month now instead of every week. I still order JC food now and again, because I like the food, and they have some great options for people with little time.

Personal Information:
My name's Katreniah (big surprise - I love my name, so I'm also using it as my handle). I love reading and television, and I'm a huge fan of multitasking. For example, I love hula hooping while I watch some of my programs. I highly recommend the exercise. I currently live in Maryland but was born in Virginia. I've also lived in Ohio (for about 2 years of college), New York City, and Anchorage, AK. I love to travel and do it as much as I can.

Other Information:
I currently live with my sister and help her and my brother-in-law with the kids. It's been a win-win situation all 'round.

    Are you interested in a Challenge?

    The Biggest Loser goes for 10 weeks. It consists of 10 teams participating in weekly Fitness and Nutrition challenges. The Spring challenge will be getting started the beginning of March. It consists of fitness and nutrition challenges that are often in a form of a game. If for some reason you cannot do a challenge then they are modified to meet your needs. Often we do the challenge in a game form, we have BINGO and TIC TAC TOE or seasonally themed. For Winter we had Help Santa Fill His Sleigh, Run Rudolf Run and Super Bowl.
