Nothing tastes as good as thin feels...moderation not deprivation.
I started my journey back in March 2012 weighing in at 290+ pounds. I decided that diets don't work and scales were not my friend. I took on the mentality of eat this not that (not the book) and just started to make healthier eating choices. I followed the food pyramid and began writing down everything I ate, watching portions and ate 5-6 small meals a day. Walking at first was horrible as I was so out of shape but I kept at it and increased my speed and distance every 2-3 weeks. After about a month I bought the Jillian Michaels Body Revolution Program and never in my wildest dreams would imagine I could do what I can today. It is now the end of September and I am down 80 pounds and going strong. I continue to eat only clean healthy food and exercise everyday. I look forward to sharing my progress.
