No Day But Today!

I may have fallen off track, but I'm not out of the game! After losing over 120 pounds, I moved to a new city, started teaching full-time at an elementary school and taking classes full-time for my master's degree. I let myself get distracted from my goals, and gained back almost 40 pounds. ugh...but I'm back, and more motivated than ever to reach my goals!

My Goals:
Long-term goals:
-reach goal weight of 149#
-reach a healthy BP
-Wear a short dress without shame!
-run a 5k
-go on a DATE!

Short-term goals:
-get to the gym 5x a week
-get a support system
-get 5-6hrs of sleep/night (yes that's a goal for improvement)
-no alcohol outside of holidays, then in moderation
-keep track of ALL food intake
-drink at least 8 cups of water a day
-cut down on sugar and artificial sweeteners

My Program:
-track ALL food and activity
-small meals every two hours to keep metabolism humming
-celebrating small accomplishments

Personal Information:
I teach 1st grade in Minnesota. I just moved to a new town and for the first time, am living on my own.

Other Information:
I have quite the list of hobbies! I love reading, but I feel like I never have time for it. I also love music. I play the flute and piano and whatever other instruments are lying around. I also really love theater and going to plays and musicals. My favorite musical is a toss up between Rent, Les Mis and Wicked. I really enjoy going to movies with my family and watching netflix at home (I really love documentaries). I also really love craft projects (and quilting) so I'll be set when I have my own classroom for all those school projects :-)
