Married to my highschool sweetheart for 30 years :)...we have 6 children ages 16-29 that we love very much and who keep our lives very busy and blessed, am an OB nurse and Lactation consultant. Love to cook, fall is my favorite time of year, thankful for my Catholic faith in my life, enjoy dancing with friends, exercising on the elliptical, staying in touch with friends and family, and IU graduate and fan!!

Other Information:
Enjoy spending time with my family, I am in a book club, each day is a gift, thankful for my family, friends, job and my health.

Well, it's official: Last time I weighed in was May24th, at 132. That sounds an awful lot like a holiday weekend start to me.
I weighed in again this morning: Another holiday weekend, and I'm at 144.

There are so many reasons I could analyze but the bottom line is that I need a MAJOR metabolism reset. I have to get the processed, the candy, the sugar - OUT of my life. So I'll throw in dairy and grains… I need the reset in such a big way.

I am emoticon but am GOING to be emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

Hi there Kathy - emoticon too!!!

I am thinking of starting the Whole30 challenge. I know Jan is wanting to try it out. What do you think?
I have GOT to get it together. This summer has been crazy but not too crazy that I just drop it all not he floor. GAH!

I will be looking for "In Defense of Food" this weekend and am going to give it a try starting Tuesday the 2nd. I need a HARD RESET for this body to get itself back in some sort of metabolism streak.

Tuesday is the last day! I almost fell off the wagon yesterday! Lots of work stress and a snake in our house! Just a baby but after I got it out I wanted wine!!!
Doobie Bros! Fun! Get some steak on your salad! Abbie leaves a week from today. I just booked a flight to see Mandy on 9/11- I don't like the thought of flying that day- hopefully plane will be empty! Have a great weekend!!! emoticon
