Hi Kathy! Hope your clear liquid day is going all right (yuck!) and your procedure goes easily (and they find nothing). You'll let us know how your sister does? Thanks for your comments. I am feeling much better. Keep your chin up! Sonja (PS Great picture! You look amazing!!)

Hey Kathy, you've got a really nice face! Congrats on leaving so much dead weight behind. Think Spring and boogie right past those chocolate rabbits and Easter fluff. Shorts and tank tops are just around the corner!

Hi Kathy,
Thanks for checking out my page. I know what you mean about sneaking food. I use to do it too. I think I stopped once I was able to buy groceries for myself. Its as if it wasn't forbidden anymore.

Its just one of those things that we have to learn to make life adjustments for. Isn't that what its all about too!

Thanks for adding me as a friend. I had a gastric bypass back in 1997. I lost 150 pounds (from 386 to 236), then met an executive chef (crazy, huh?), married him, had two kids and gradually gained back 90 pounds. Argh! But since last year, I've lost that, plus more, doing it so differently. This time I've made it a livestyle, not a diet and it just feels right. I even found exercise I like! Sounds like you have some very good goals - good luck!

Kathy,
Thanks for being the first one to comment on my first blog! I was having a lousy day. But your comment helped me to move on. I did go out and reward myself: my first size 16 (not 16w or higher) jeans in years. I had kept saying that I would reward myself but never did. Thanks for the reminder.

You are doing great! Keep up the good work.

Sonja
