It's not a diet - it's a lifestyle change

I'm approaching mile marker 60. My doctor just added another pill to my diet (for cholesterol). My clothes are too tight. So I decided I need to take control of my health. I don't have much money so looked for a free site to track my diet and fitness.

My Program:
Exercising at least 30 minutes per day.
I'm keeping my calories to 1500 and I try to keep carbs to a minimum. Not sure if it is working. I have been doing this almost two weeks (but just started tracking). Due to my age, adjustments may be pending...
