A Little Somethin' To Lose

My name is Kathie and I'm a mother of four.

With my last child I broke 190 pounds and haven't been able to dip back below that. The real kick in the pants, however was in May of 2007 when at my physical I realized that I had climbed to 206 pounds!

We found Spark then, but I really wasn't ready to commit until August of 2007.

Now I'm ready to focus on me again.

My Goals:
I'd really like to get into a size 12. I love to dress in funky styles and find it difficult. A lot of the trendy stores don't go above a size 12.

Weight Goal: Lose 50 Pounds by Christmas - In Progress

Ultimate goal #1: Size 12

My Program:
I need to watch calorie intake and drink my water.

I also need to be more consistent about calorie burning with a cardio/weight training program.

Personal Information:
Married to my best friend for almost twenty years, I'm a stay at home mom with four kids. We have an additional college student living with us, and our home also houses two dogs, two cats and one ferret. So my plate is - as they say - overflowing.

We live just outside of Providence, near Edgewood.

My passions - outside of the family - are reading, photography and shoes. I enjoy movies and theatre, video games and music.

Hi Kathie!! Haven't heard from you in a bit. How are you doing? I'd love for us to chat and to see how your summer is going.

Thanks for your Wii input. I bit the bullet where I asked and received it for my birthday. I'm loving it and my body is happy but sore. I love the games, and it is so much more fun then just doing an exercise tape. I'd love to hear what you are doing on it.

Remember: The scale will only tell you a number that represents how much you weigh.

It can't tell you that you WILL achieve your dreams
It can't tell you that your goals are within your grasp
It won't tell you the you have so many gifts to share with the world
It can't tell you how incredibly amazing you are.

No matter what the scale says, never, ever forget those things!
