Making a change

I was diagnosed with high blood pressure this past November, and feel like 33 is just too young to start that. My dad died at age 58 of heart disease, and I thought that I was eating and living healthily enough. Maybe not. I've been reading "YOU: On a Diet", and it has made me look at food a new way. I'm looking for resources, motivation, and information on healthy eating and lifestyle and hoping to improve my health (and that of my family, which includes 4 children who aren't entirely on ...

I'm looking for resources, motivation, and information on healthy eating and lifestyle and hoping to improve my health (and that of my family, which includes 4 children who aren't entirely on board with the "healthy eating" thing and a husband who's cautiously positive about the new plan) and get a better body, too!

My Goals:
**Reduce blood pressure to a point where I no longer need medication
**Wear a swimsuit on vacation without feeling suicidal :)
**Improve family eating habits, particularly by reducing trans fats and increasing whole grains

Other Information:
My hobbies include reading, camping, hiking, and volleyball...but my life mostly consists of running 4 kids to various practices and events!
