On Monday December 19th, 2011 my boyfriends son, Michael, was killed in a car accident. He'd lived with us for a long time. He was just like my own son. Everyone is devastated. This was the worst Christmas ever. I cried all day on Christmas Eve. His empty place at the table, hanging up his stocking...just all so painful. Our family will never be the same. The other children are in shock. We all are. I just keep waiting for him to walk in the door.

Personal Information:
My boyfriend & I have been together for 14 years. I've got a 23 year old daughter, a 21 year old son & a 17 year old daughter. Plus my boyfriends son, who is 19. He's my bonus boy & has lived with us for 12 years.
Other Information:
I work for a small airline, that is slowly & painfully going out of business. This was a company that I loved & wanted to work for forever. With great coworkers & travel benefits that no one else in the industry could even come close to. But our long projected demise has been very stressful and I finally realized that I am just so over it. On Nov. 30th, I submitted my resignation / 2 week notice and I really feel a great deal of relief. After very careful soul searching, there is just no reason to stay. Luckily I have two other jobs. They are seasonal, but at least I have work until August.
