Single Mom of a Teenager, and AKC boxer, living in central MO. Weight is not so easy to ignore in a photo. I'm usually the one behind the camera, so don't see too many pics of myself. I'm through hiding behind this fat person. The Weight is over! Since joining SP, have been learning how to set goals. I like all the information available along with the support. It's looking like I have a great chance of succeeding now more than ever. Watching and communicating with those who inspire me, along with helping others do the same, is one of the surest ways to accomplish my goals. Anything to do with outdoorsy stuff, or arts and crafts... count me in! I'm constantly playing with yarn. I like enjoy playing with our 9 year old boxer in the front yard a little bit everyday. I haven't had much time to do any fishing lately, but am trying to eat it more. From central MO, but enjoy traveling all across the USA. We have family and friends in GA, SC, and AL who we try to visit a couple times a year.

My Program:
Jan/1/08 started the Reliv Slimplicity weight loss plan. Since joining SP, started watching daily calorie intake, which I hadn't done in over 10 years. Daily goals: Drink 8-10 glasses of water. No caffeine after 3pm. Supper at 5-6pm No eating after 8pm. Sleep by 11pm. Having a schedule helps keep me healthy. Be more active. Exercise; Now added one dance class per week. Doing yoga class @ least one to two times per week. Doing video, so that I workout for an hour a couple days a week in between classes, for a total of about 5 days a week.
Personal Information:
I enjoy helping people, so do volunteer work at a local food bank once or twice a month. I grew up traveling and changing school all the time, then continued moving until my DD started school. These are the places I lived in so far...All over MO, Charleston SC, Monroe GA, Coin Iowa, KY, Everett WA, VA, Denver CO, Charlotte NC, and the list may not be completed yet.
Other Information:
Most of my weight has always been carried in my legs. I have an extremely large frame. My wrist is 7 1/2" (for real). I am muscular, which fortunately makes me appear smaller than my weight actually is on my 5'5" body. My biggest obstacle, especially concerning exercise, is motivation. Procrastination takes up so much time....
