Welcome to my sparkpage. I've been away for awhile but I've been semi-sparking for the past month or so; walking, trying to be aware of what I eat. I'm down 15 Ibs today; woohoo! (25 Ibs now)
I've been asking God to help me lose weight. (Thanks, God). I've also been visualizing my goal weight, in 10-20 ib increments. For example, when I weighed 285, I visualized 275, then 265, then 260. Now i'm 260 and am visualizing 240 ;-).
The D key on my computer is sticking so I'll apologize here for any missing D's, lol.
A lot has happened since I last posted. My Mom has fully recovered from stage 4 throat cancer, and then a bout with bladder cancer last year. The bladder cancer came back, this fall, but the tumors were successfully removed. Mom is now on her 3rd week of a preventative chemo treatment, and so far, no side effects, thank God. We're all praying that she will remain cancer free from now on.
I published one of my books, a contemporary, humorous children's book called The REAL Poop! A Cassandra Matthews Adventure. It's now available on Amazon, and at Coles bookstore in my hometown.
My first book signing went well, and I recently had to bring in more books to the bookstore because my books sold out; woohoo!

When my asthma's not bad, I enjoy walking and playing kinect. If I had the money, I'd buy the HTC Vive Virtual Reality and a good computer...but I don't so I have to wait for a cheap version to come out, lol.
