My Goals:
I want to be as healthy as I can possibly be now so I can be healthy later. And to support my family and my spark family along the way. I need to become a more healthy eater and know when to use my limitations to prevent injury orNOT to use as an excuse....

My Program:
I've encountered many injuries in the last 10 months. I am trying to get in at least 1 hr of cardio each day doing aerobics classes which I LOVE! Eating, well I could use a makeover!

Personal Information:
Training for Rock-n-roll San Antonio 1/2 marathon. Having fun with 5K's. My advice if you're injury prone-BE PATIENT and do what you're told :) I have learned the hard way that being Dr Karin has given me alot of grief!

Other Information:
Love reading, running, zumba, basketball, being outdoors....am always looking for something comedic to watch, see or read--so please send them my way.

Hi everyone-I've received alot of comments about the hcg and wanted to share more info. I think the HCG diet can have a variety of variables. For me, I started with the 500 calories for a few days but am a workout junkie so this was definately not working. You can read the process, but I uppd my calories to around 12-1500 by adding more lean protein (lots of egg white omelettes, grilled or baked chicken breast) and added the B-12 drops. I am sceptical of the shots (plus I hate shots!) so I used the drops. I also made sure I had some fruit and a small amt of protein at bedtime. Going to bed hungry does not make for good sleep! I am happy to try ad answer more questions so keep them coming. And whatever you do, whatever method is working for you-Keep MOVING! I want you all to succeed and become the person you want to be!

I appreciate all the honest feedback! I have been watching my weight and exercising almost daily for 6 weeks (I'm starting week 7 today) and have lost 15.2 lbs and here's the best part: 24.8" from chest/waist/hip/thigh/knee/calf/arms. I wish my weight would go down more but have to say the number isn't the most important measure of success now is it? For those of you who have never tried Zumba-I highly reccommend it! utube a few titles: one is zumba push it, the other is zumba waka waka, and check out lindsayjayfitness zumba video's. They are so much fun and you get addicted. They are like my crack! (as our instructor says) emoticon

As for where I received the HCG from, I'd rather not endorse any specific website. Instead inquire at your local health food store or google a DO or MD in your area who prescribes to the HCG diet. Best of luck to you!
