My name is Kari, and I am 27 years old. I lost over 30 pounds on SparkPeople in 2007, and have unfortunately gained about 20 of it back over the last 3 years. I joined Weight Watchers in February and am enjoying success with their new PointsPlus program after a long struggle trying to restart my weight loss.

My husband James and I live in Southern Indiana and bought our first home in 2009. I graduated with a master's degree from Miami University in Mass Communication and a bachelor of science in Journalism from East Tennessee State University. We have two dogs -- Cocoa and Bean, a dachshund and a yorkie.

Other Information:
I enjoy scrapbooking, cross stitch and photography, and watching 90s sitcoms on TV. I also enjoy cooking and trying new recipes. I especially love my small Crock Pot, which is perfect for making meals for the two of us.

Thursday, Sept 17: Ten minutes of upper body strength work - FIVE POINTS. Twenty minutes of cardio - TEN POINTS. Track your food for the day - FIVE POINTS. Max. 20 points per person, 60 points per team.
