Taking Control

As a chubby little girl who turned into a chubbier young woman, I guess I shouldn't be surprised that by the time I hit my 50's the weight really started to pile up. Quitting smoking (I did it many times) always led to weight gain; then I'd lose but never as much as I had put on. I believe I've finally kicked the smoking habit for good (3 years plus), but I need to conquer this weight thing once and for all. My knees hurt, my feet ache, etc. I've been walking and doing weights for years now ...

My knees hurt, my feet ache, etc. I've been walking and doing weights for years now which I'm really proud of, but the fat remains. Time to get serious and really see what's going on. NO EXCUSES this time. I know I'll never be a fashion model--I'm a real woman who wants to feel better and button my pants--is that too much to ask?
