I am in zealous pursuit of optimal health. I won't stop until I get it. It's mine, and I am going to do whatever it takes to stake my claim. I am looking forward to the journey and the ultimate prize of healthy living.
Goal #1 : Developing a daily habitof exercise:
To accomplish this, i need to adopt the healthy attitude of "Taking care of me first".
There is no good reason I can think of as to why I cannot spend 20 minutes exercising before I start work.
09/29/13:I am starting with 20 minutes a day, today, and will add 10 minutes/day each week until i get up to 60 minutes/day before work.
Because I am worth it. And because if I don't, I won't be able to work, or do much of anything else.
1. Don't give up.
2. Nutrisystem with my sister, starting 04/15/14.
3. Plan, prepare and eat 2 healthy snacks/day, in addition to the Nutrisystem meals and snacks in my package.
4. Develop a habit of daily exercise and MOVE IT, MOVE IT, MOVE IT at every opportunity.
Hi, my name is Karen. I'm from anywhere USA (Decatur, Montpelier, Bryan, Glendale Heights, Glen Ellen, Bay Village, Lakewood, North Olmsted, Berea, Sparta, Budd Lake, Fairfield, Sharonville, Batavia, Middletown, West Chester, Greenwood, Maineville and Fairfield Township (aka "the knob").... anywhere, USA!). I am a 53 year old wife, mother of 2 grown boys and grandmother of 8, ages 2 months to 15 years.
I work full time and play with the kids every chance I get.
I want more time and energy to play with the kids, and that is my primary motivation to finally take the weight off now.
i grew to my current weight when my doctors prescribed various medications to me during my 40's (CHANGE TIME) which are known to cause weight gain. I have been off all those medications for 6 years now, but the weight is still here, so it's time to take care of that.
I got my brain back, got my health back, and now I want my body back!
Let God arise!
And that's where it all starts!
