My Goals:
My goal is to be comfortable in my own body and I believe if I can loose 30 pounds I will feel more comfortable. It's not just about losing the weight though, it's a lifestyle switch! I want to move more and eat better!

My Program:
I have joined a gym and I have a workout buddy. We have been going to 2-3 classes a week and will be starting our weight lifting program next week. Moving is not the problem for me, Eating is!!! My plan is to eat 1200-1500 calories.

Yes I am training for a 5k. Mine is April 30th (Yikes!!) It is coming up quick. Don't worry, I don't think your shins will hurt forever. If they do hurt really bad, a friend of mine (who is a runner) told me to get compressions Socks or compression legs sleeves. She wears them during her run and says she feels like she has a lot more energy. She says she feels really good after her runs and nothing hurts at all. I guess you can wear them during a run or after. I just bought my first pair yesterday, so I haven't tried them yet, but I will let you know when I do. Good Luck! :)

It totally is harder to find ten things (at least for me... I seem to run out after I run out of facial features :P), but it will be a great exercise in thinking of the positive parts.
