Regaining my health one day at a time

Three years ago , I had a major surgery after an "incidental finding " of a pancreatic tumor. The good news was that it was found in time and there was no spread to the liver or other organs. The bad news is that my digestive system doesn't work normally any more and I need to be careful what I eat in order to not tax my newly construed digestive system. There is also a risk of developing diabetes because I only have a little bit of my pancreas left. I have also eliminated almost all ...

The bad news is that my digestive system doesn't work normally any more and I need to be careful what I eat in order to not tax my newly construed digestive system. There is also a risk of developing diabetes because I only have a little bit of my pancreas left. I have also eliminated almost all processed foods because additives are especially hard for me to digest.

My Goals:
My main goal is to make exercise a year round habit, I have no trouble getting exercise during the spring summer and fall, it's winter that sets me back.

My Program:
As summer ends I'm transitioning for mainly outdoor activities to indoor ones. I take an aquasize class 2 x s a week and use a walking video and pilates or yoga at least 4 times weekly . I keep track of my steps and have been aiming for at least 6,000 but will now aim for 8000 as I spend more time indoors.

Personal Information:
I'm currently living just outside of Boston MA

Other Information:
Because of my dietary limitations I rarely eat out and make almost everything from scratch. I'm slowly inputting my recipes into spark , they are not always easy but they are always delicious. I hope you'll check them out

I saw that you posted a comment on the recipe Pasta with Tuna, Arugula, and Hot Pepper. There were no instructions on how to prepare the recipe and I couldn't find the original poster's Spark Page, so I was hoping you could help me.

I've never made arugula before but I have some from our CSA and liked this recipe as a way to use the arugula and other things I have in my pantry, but I don't know what to do with it all!

Did you cook the arugula? How do you cook arugula? Any help you could give me would be very appreciated! I tried to message you but SP said you're not accepting mail. Sorry to be a pain, just need help! thanks
