It's me...
I've been married to my husband Charlie for 17 years. We have two children, Nick who is 14 (going on 30) and Samantha who is 12. We have a load of animals and such... 2 dogs (Heidi is a keeshound & Chloe ~ a Mini American Eskimo), 2 cats (Ebony & Cooper) and last but not least, Hermi, our hermit crab who has been a part of the family for over 8 years now! My Goals:
I want to be able to go out and not be self-conscious of the way I look. I also hope to motivate myself to become more active as I have a tendency to put exercise on the "back burner." I would love to actually achieve my weight loss goals.
My Program:
I have been doing "flex-points" with WW since the first week of February '08. I started SP in April. It has been a real backup to my goals. It's 'realtime' support through the cravings and mistakes that we are all faced with.
Personal Information:
I've finally lost 25 pounds! This time I'm going to continue to do what must be done! During the summer when I am not working, I stay up too late and "play" on the computer.
Other Information:
I have a great garden during the summer. There is nothing like a tomato grown in Jersey. I drive to North Jersey every May to purchase heirloom tomato plants from Catalpa Ridge Farms. (www.jerseygrown) I get them and my husband and kids get to plant them! My green tomatoes are starting to ripen. Today (8/5) my daughter brought in an "orange strawberry" tomato...It's heart shaped with gathered shoulders like a strawberry (but it's a deep orange color. What a taste!! :-) 0 points
