I've been a member of Sparkpeople for a while, but I've slacked off. However, it's a new year with new opportunities, so here I am again! For my icon I chose the Japanese kanji for ki, or energy.

My Goals:
Of course I want to be thinner and look better, and I also want to be stronger and better able to keep up with my kids. Another goal is that I want to get my black belt in aikido. That's at least 3 years away, but I'll get there!
My Program:
Nutrition: I am focusing on meal planning and making sure I get enough fruits, veggies and water. Exercise: I have aikido twice a week, which is usually very aerobic, and I am working on adding in another two aerobic workouts per week, as well as more resistance work.
Personal Information:
I'm a transplanted NYer living in Southern California. I'm a single mom of two lovely kids. I know, everyone says that about their kids...but mine really are. ;-)
