My Goals:
One pound a week weight loss to 148 lbs. Exercise every day, working up to one full hour a day. I will be there by Thanksgiving week & I will love myself so much that I will eat in moderation through the holidays. This is my promise to myself~
My Program:
Eat a light breakfast of yogurt and fiber, a salad for lunch with protein, a moderately proportioned dinner... 1/2 hr on treadmill and 20 minutes on the elliptical for now.
Personal Information:
I live in a small colorado town near my family. I've been steadily gaining weight for about 5 years and decreasing my exercise for about the same time frame. Working in the health field exposes me to folks who have not taken care of themselves for one reason or another and now that I'm older, I feel like I need to get a handle on my health. I can't just take it for granted any more!
Other Information:
I'm a big reader but I'm not fond of quotes...except this one. Food is my drug of choice, and when I binge I'm using my preferred substance to deny, swallow or escape my feelings.
