re your comment on my blog yesterday (22nd October) I know what you mean about finding places to go that either don't cost and arm and a leg, or involve grocery shopping! It's true! The only thing really is walking & maybe the library. There are some art galleries here I can walk round for free, and some museums that are open for free sometimes, but you are so right - everything we do outside of the home costs money - and it is a challenge. It's quite isolating, isn't it? I often turn down events because it will involve spending money on food or drink that I don't have!
