My Goals:
Lose 30 pounds by May 31, 2013 - still my goal To reach this goal I will continue to track my food, eat healthy, and start incorporating 10-minute bursts of exercise in addition to my regular exercise
My Program:
- Karate class three times a week - Gym for cardio and strength training twice a week - Walking the dog and tending my garden - maybe these aren't calorie scorchers but good for the soul.
Personal Information:
I'm an RN and RPN (in Western Canada that's a psychiatric nurse), mother of two adult children, new grandmother, and guardian of a big dog (Marley) and a small cat (Rani). She came to us almost two years ago from the SPCA and she's taken over the rule of the house!
Other Information:
After getting my shodan black belt, my next goal is to obtain a Master's degree in Health Informatics. I'm more than halfway through at the University of Victoria. It's hard but also a lot of fun.
