My weight loss has slowed down a lot, but I'm still making some progress. I am determined to get back with a good amount of portion control, drink more water, take in less sugar and salt, and exercise more!

I'm now living in Germany and loving it! Learning German quickly thanks to classes, and the active life style is helping me so much with weight loss!
I have always been overweight, even as a young child. I never really took notice of it until one day, when I was 17 yrs old, I stepped on a scale and was hit by the severity of the situation. I was 277 lbs. At the time, I had no idea how to diet, or even exercise properly.
Since that day, I have been back and forth with diets and weight loss. At the start I lost a total of 48 lbs, down to 229. After that I found out I had Celiac, which pretty much ruined my whole dieting plan at the time. I've never really managed to get back down to that point. In February, 2012 I realized at 266 lbs, I was getting dangerously close to my heaviest weight again. Thanks to my Aunt and Cousin, I was given the idea to try a vegetarian diet - for which I'm very glad! I lost back down to 239 by July.
As is the apparent pattern, I got completely distracted from my progress by the visit of my Man (he came to see me all the way from Germany!). Don't get me wrong, I was so happy to see him! But that's exactly the reason I pretty much ignored my new diet... I was so busy concentrating on him! So now I'm back AGAIN to a heavier weight, and I'm really determined to lose it, and more. And KEEP IT OFF! I say this too often, but I really want to finish to my goal weight this time! I know it will be really challenging, with my life this hectic - I'll be going to Germany in January, 2013 - but I have to stay motivated! I know I have to do it, for me and for my friends and loved ones!
Reach my goal weight
Lead an active and healthy life style, and inspire my family to do the same!
Wear the clothes that I want to wear and have them look good!
As much fruit and veggies as possible, and counting calories as well.
Getting as much "Active Time" as possible!
