To bring myself to a healthy weight and to maintain it. To prevent the Congenital Heart Disease that runs in my family; although I am already experiencing related symptoms, I hope to keep from having it develop into a life threatening condition. Curing my insomnia Changing my self destructive lifestyle into a healthy one. To be a good example for my daughter and to be in a positive position to help her with her own health/weight concerns.
Eating consciously with health goals in mind. Walking every day and incorporating a cardio-healthy exercise routine at least 3x per week To listen to my doctor's direction in my health plan and to take the prescribed medications and supplements that will improve my health. Going to bed at a reasonable hour and staying there until it's time to get up. Hug my children, tell them I love them and that I plan to be around for a really long time :)
