Journey to a healthier me!

My name is Kara, I am a single mom to three boys...ages 17,14, and 8. I am tired of being fat, I am tired of hating summer, I am tired of not being able to shop off the rack for my clothes, I am tired of being too embarrased to wear a sleeveless shirt because my arms are so fat. I am tired of not wanting to wear shorts because my legs are riddled with nasty cellulite. I have been exercising for about 3 weeks now....almost every day and have lost 11 pounds. My name is Kara, I am a single mom to three boys...ages 17,14, and 8. I am tired of being fat, I am tired of hating summer, I am tired of not being able to shop off the rack for my clothes, I am tired of being too embarrased to wear a sleeveless shirt because my arms are so fat. I am tired of not wanting to wear shorts because my legs are riddled with nasty cellulite. I have been exercising for about 3 weeks now....almost every day and have lost 11 pounds. Eating right is the most difficult thing for me, I find myself migrating towards those fast food restaurants too often.
I am a pediatric oncology nurse, work full time and find that if I dont take my lunch to work, I eat all the wrong stuff from the cafe.
This is a journey, I know it will take some time to get it all right, but Im just ready. My goal is to lose 80 pounds and keep it off.

My Goals:
My first short term goal is to lose 20 pounds. I have lost 11 of that 20.

My long term goal is to lose 80 pounds over the next year. I have given myself that long, but if it comes off faster than that....perfect!

My Program:
I have adopted a very healthy eating style. I drink about a liter of water a day, exercise a minimum of 5 days a week, alternating strength training and cardio.
