I'm ready this time.... And I'm sticking to it!!!

Let me start off formally (at least as formal as i can be) my name is Kaprice, i'm 20 and I am tired of making excuses for myself. As long as I can remember I have always been the largest person whether its in my family, in school, or with my closest friends. And I've always felt so out of place. It's so hard always being the fat girl and ugly girl out of all my friends. I want to get healthy so I can be happy with myself and so I can be able to look in the mirror again.

Let me start off formally (at least as formal as i can be) my name is Kaprice, i'm 20 and I am tired of making excuses for myself. As long as I can remember I have always been the largest person whether its in my family, in school, or with my closest friends. And I've always felt so out of place. It's so hard always being the fat girl and ugly girl out of all my friends. I want to get healthy so I can be happy with myself and so I can be able to look in the mirror again.

I'm tired of always making excuses for why I don't go out and do something or why it's ok for me to eat this this time. I know that I can do this, but I also know that I can't do this on my own anymore so I'm hoping to make some incredible friends on here and some buddies who will help me accountable for all my own actions.

I know that in order to do this and stick to it this time, I have to show more will power and not to give in just because. Today is the start of a new day. Today is the day that I stop making excuses for myself and I own up to anyhting and everything that I do. If I want a happy healthy life, I'm going to have make it that way and get there one step at a time, and one day at a time. The time for exuses to end is now! The time to live a healthier life is NOW!!!!

My ultimate goal is to get down to 200 pounds which will be broken down into mini goals.

1st goal: 5% of my body weight

Drink plenty of water of course and try to work in more vegetables into my meals.

I love to zumba and anything else that requires dancing and I also love to do The Biggest Loser Challenge

In my spare time I love to read and write poetry along with singing.

So proud of you. This journey is not an easy one. You are making progress even though the scale may not always reflect it. This journey is about more than just the number on the scale. You are working through those old hard to break habits and letting the new healthy ones take hold.

Hope you are reconsidering dropping out! The only thing you will get by not persevering is being upset with yourself. You are a young pretty woman. Losing weight is hard work! But you can do it. The easiest way is to up your exercise. Find something that you enjoy doing and do it. Religiously every day every week every month. Track your food and drink your water. The weight will come off. Not like on TV, that show is stupid. But in a healthy maintainable way. emoticon
