2 Years 9 Months of Maintenance!

I have lost 110 pounds. I have completed two years and nine months of maintenance. Exercise, planning, and healthy eating have become a way of life for over three years. I can do this. I can keep this weight off!

It is time to say I am going to make it this time and keep up my health. I am not returning to sugar, emotional eating, and refined carbs. Bingeing is no longer part of my life.

I like my gazpacho a bit chunky actually so chop in batches -- and lots of red pepper flakes so it's really really spicy!!

I'm wanting to try a chilled summer borscht with no fat Greek yogourt and chopped fresh dill, all pink and creamy . . . maybe next week. Also really fast if we "cheat" and use canned beets (and why not????)

I see you and Morticia are talking about cats. Our Super Tiny just came out of ICU last week and we are continuing all the ICU care except for IVs, here at home, including hand feeding and all his meds. He's doing better, which is a big relief, because we brought him home either for him to be comfortable in his last days or to get better.

If you have never tried Catsure, for a cat that needs fluids or that needs to gain weight, it is a very good way to get fluids and calories in them. It's like Ensure for people. emoticon emoticon

We are hoping we can slowly get Reekie to eat more. He is anorexic and losing weight. We have to be careful to not overextend his stomach but he need more food. We wish he would eat some food on his own and he is trying to a little but not much. I'm praying that he can do more to help us. As long as he is on the antibiotic he won't want to eat much. I hope my hubby gets the box done soon. It's a lot of work. Thanks for your support and prayers. You are the best!

Right now we are not doing anything much more than taking care of Reekie and ourselves. We haven't even gone outside much. We don't want to end up getting too stressed and get sick ourselves. It's been great to have my hubby home to help. Tomorrow will be harder. The bigger box is inside his usual cage on the top floor so we hope he will like it but it's hard to say. Prayer does help. I'm sure of it.
