I've battled my weight most of my life. I did manage to lose 50 pounds and was down to what would be considered an average weight for my height. I loved it but still somehow let myself get to 80 pounds overweight.

I set a New Year's Resolution for myself, something I never do, to get fitter and healthier and to feel better about myself.

My Goals:
First and foremost I want to feel healthier by eating with nutrition in mind.



Of course I want to lose weight as well with another 45 pounds to go.

My Program:
Right now I am using SparkPeople to help me count my calories and track my exercise program.

I am riding my recumbant bike for 30 minutes daily, doing the Biggest Loser Workout DVD for Strength and Sculpting and add walking in whenever possible.

Personal Information:
I''m a Californian, transplanted to Wisconsin 12 years ago and I love it.



All of my children are grown and live in the same small town that I do, along with 7 of my 11 grandchildren.

I retired last year and no longer run a daycare in my home....I love being retired but do miss the little ones sometimes....to fill in that gap I go to my daughter's daycare and snuggle up with her daycare children...I just love reading to them and watching them grow!
