It's time. My time. I haven't cared enough about me for years. I care now, and I'm motivated to make a change. I am ready to find the person inside of me who I loved so long ago. My Program:
For Diet I am following with very few modifications, the recommendations in Jillian Michaels books - How to Master your Metabolism - taking a very whole foods approach with little artificial/prepackaged as well as watching calorie intake 1200 - 1550/day.

Also - Exercising 5+ days a week, learning to become a runner.... and working towards becoming a triathlete! Fat girls CAN run!! Who knew??

You can't be happy all of the time; but you can focus your thoughts on happy things such as family, friends, job, hobbies, or whatever you find important.

Battle On Warrior! Are you okay?

Thank you for posting on the Orange Squad Support thread! Even just checking in is encouraging to everyone; but let us know how you are doing and feel free to ask questions or share a problem or answer a question that someone may have! Your input counts! You don't 'have' to post everyday; but you will find it helpful and encouraging if you do. It will keep you mindful of what you eat.

We have a Wednesday Orange Squad Challenge: There is strength in encouraging another person, it psychologically encourages yourself at the same time. I know that I asked our squad to visit and encourage yesterday, but many people were away from their computers yesterday so todays challenge is to visit every Orange Squad Warrior and say something positive about the Battle! Everyone on the Squad can be found on the Orange Squad weigh in thread. We're all there.

We are beginning to ROCK this Battle and it's all because we're The Orange Squad of warriors!

Our squad is looking good! Did you see that is was one of our own Orange Squad who won the BWOTW? PLEASE go visit 1AVERY's sparkpage and congratulate her!

The Tuesday Challenge is to visit and encourage all those on our Orange Squad who struggled and did not win any victory this week. I have posted on the Orange Support thread all of the Orange Squad victories! We need to have each others backs and provide encouragement and support to all who need it! Even if you didn't win any victory yourself; go and encourage a fellow Warrior; you know what they say, "What's good for the goose is good for the gander!"

Our formation is strong. We can do this! The consensus was good yesterday for the challenge! Good job for all of your effort to not over eat!

We are so going to ROCK this Battle!

Greetings Kali, my fellow Orange Squad Warrior! We survived the first week! Woohoo! I can hardly wait to see how everyone did this past week; please, be sure to post your results on the 'WEIGH IN' forum today and please post also on the Orange Support thread and let us all know how you did, so we can help you celebrate and or encourage you!

The Battle week 2 is ON!

We have a Monday Orange Squad Challenge: Make this first day count! Today; stick to the plan, do not waiver from it; no excess snacking; no cheating; no over eating and no excuses! Let's start the second week off strong! This is the same challenge as last Monday, but it's a good one and worth repeating!

Now let's lock arms and push ahead!

Continue the BATTLE, Warrior! Stay STRONG!

This marks the end of the first week you gorgeous Orange Warrior! Get through today and you can pat yourself on the back for a Battle first week well fought! This has been an amazing week and together we have made great progress! Reward yourself with self praise. Look in the mirror and tell yourself you did it! You have one week under your belt that should be fitting a bit looser by now! Share how you feel about your first week on the Orange Support thread.

We have Sunday Orange Squad Challenge. This challenge is a fast. You can do a liquid fast (watch those calories though, liquids can contain a lot of calories) using meal replacement or you can do a liquid fast and drink only diluted juice, water and coffee or tea; or you can just do a water fast. Just make sure you drink plenty of water no matter which fast you select. You can fast breakfast, lunch or dinner or all three; the choice is yours. As always, the daily challenges are optional.

Don't forget, tomorrow is weigh in! You will need to report your stats on Your Squad weigh in forum. I'm excited to see how you have done!
