January 2010-I enjoy laughing and silliness, but being overweight is no laughing matter. I am frustrated that I have found some things challenging even though they should be simple. In past years, I have let my size and insecurities dictate my limits. Today I will play an active role in my environment rather than standing in the shadows of what I dream to be or accomplish. I am no longer an observer. I am a participant in life. I will succeed in this journey as there is no other option. One step and one day at a time I will become stronger, faster, healthier, happier, and more alive than ever.

My Goals:
My goal is to drop half my weight by adopting a healthier lifestyle and learning about nutrition and fitness in order to reach and maintain permanent results. Other than that just zorbing, zip lining, water rafting, mountain hiking, and perhaps a cruise.. oh wait, sorry. Thought this was my Dear Santa list ..

My Program:
Good old fashioned healthy diet and exercise. I'm doing lots of self prescribed homework to learn anything and everything I can about health and fitness.

January 2010-Pay attention to what I eat and make efforts to make better choices. I am getting to know my habits and learning which ones to improve upon. I go to the gym 3x a week for about 20-30 minutes of cardio and 20-30 minutes of weight training.

    Just wanted to stop by and say I hope youre feelin' better... strep is NO FUN - I had a it a couple of years ago after a big NYE party where everyone got strep... sucked, it wasn't even from making out with multiple people and you wouldve thought with all the dang alcohol we consumed any germs wouldve been killed but... no such luck!
    Anyway - back from Vegas - no big winnings, but I had a blast! Exhausted: ate too much, drank too much, dehydrated, sleep deprived, but right back to 'it' & cant wait to nail the gyms booty to the wall in the morning. (-:
    PS: You new pic makes me want a tire even more now!
