2013 A New Year

I am planning to continue my journey. When I started with SP in June 2012 my goal was to lose 50 pounds. As of 12/30/12 I have lost 36 pounds. I need to get back on track with my program and try to reach my goal. I want to be able to move more freely and to feel healthier.

My Goals:
~ Lose 50 pounds (as of 6/6/13 I have lost 30)
~Lose another 35 pounds by November 1, 2013

~Go off blood pressure and cholesterol medicine in 2013 (the dosages were reduced at my doctor visit in April).

~Challenge myself in some way every month.

My Program:
~Eat healthier foods and log everything in the nutrition tracker.

~Plan my meals every day.

~Be active for 15-30 minutes every day.

~Read success stories and blogs for inspiration.

Personal Information:
I am 56 years old, divorced and have one son (age 22). I work as a clerical assistant in patient financial services at a local hospital. I like to read books by Nora Roberts and Janet Evanovich. I enjoy gardening and going for walks.

LOL oh, I've got LOTS of those weeks that could have been better! The good thing is we recognize that & are smart Sparkers for moving on from it! emoticon

I'll get our mileages calculated soon. I'm working on posting a few blogs. We just got back from camping all weekend. Amy and I challenged each other before I left to stay on track & I forget what hers was...oops. My goal was to photo my foods I was eating. Now that I've got them tracked into SP I can post my blogs.

We made it through the first week of our Jump Start to June mileage challenge!

How did your first week go? I can't wait to total all of our mileage counts/minutes and see how far we traveled as a group!
