I've been on a journey of weight loss since 2009. I was at my highest weight ever (maybe 230-235? I was too scared to look at the scale at the dr. Denial was my coping mechanism.

I lost 46 lbs and got down to 189. I looked freakin awesome! I started eating fast food again, I stopped working out. I gained, I lost a little, I gained a little. Fast Forward to January 2013 when my company started a Weight Watchers meeting at work. They paid for it, I had nothing to lose. I was 213. I'm 5'9" and carry most of my weight in my arms/chest and legs, so my stomach was never huge and sticking out, so I always tried to justify because I wasn't apple shaped, I was okay. After 10 weeks, I had lost maybe 8 lbs? So 205, I stopped going and started off on my own...AGAIN. Today, 11/14/13 I weigh 194.6 and I am okay with my slow, steady progress. My biggest challenge is my diet. If I could get that under control, I'm sure I would see a huge loss quickly. Join me on my journey and I'd love to see your successes along the way!!

I'm 27 and I have a unique and ADORING outlook on life and the people in this world. I am naively optimistic in most cases, but optimism doesn't melt the pounds away. Its time to go back to what worked before...tracking my food, workouts and stop making excuses.

My Goals:
I would really love to lose 30 pounds (from when I started SP). 185 would make me very happy! I know some of you are like "185! Thats still more than your BMI is supposed to be!" But I hate the BMI calculation & I quite honestly think its stupid. We are all built differently and @ 5'9" and with my bust/waist/hip ratio 150 would look unhealthy on me. So you skinny girls can keep your BMI calcs. Im ok with being a little higher than "normal".

My Program:
Watching my calorie intake and working out regularly. Trying to eat more healthy foods (vegetables--YUCK!) instead of the quick, easy foods.

Personal Information:
Im Kaylee. I live in Charleston, SC and have for the past 2+ years. I moved here from Charlotte after graduating college. I miss Charlotte--A LOT! lol The End.

Other Information:
I love scrapbooking & photography!

I got the job, so I am moving to Greenville in a couple weeks -- but I totally agree, having someone to hold you accountable helps in the whole process. I've started logging calories again -- on day 9 currently! I've already noticed I'm cutting out over a 1,000 calories a day by rethinking some previous food choices! Anyway, if you are ever in the Greenville area and want to go hiking or something, let me know! I heard they have great trails in the mountains. My number is 781-308-9139 and name is Jackie. Good luck with your journey!

I just moved to the Charleston area a couple months ago from Massachusetts upon graduating college and I am looking for a running buddy or workout partner. I do have an interview in Greenville for a job next week, but if it doesn't work out, would you be interested?

3 months? Wow! My husband goes for 3 months when he has to go to another state for trainings! If he goes it would be for 9 months actually overseas. The first 3 months would be at a nearby base. last time we were apart almost a straight 15 months. A big reason why I'm like "uh I'm not doing this active duty thing anymore". He loves the military so we compromised on the national guard. He still misses active duty but I'm glad that he is home for a few years between deployments instead of being shipped off every other year!

Not crazy bout it, but I guess we should be happy there are men and women willing to do that for this country! emoticon
