Trekking in Alaska

I'm a Christian housewife in the frozen arctic of Alaska. Loving every minute of it, but hard to workout with the cold. I struggle with consistency, but am determined to get to a healthy weight and be a good example to my husband and daughter.

My Program:
Spend time with God.

Workout at least five days a week.

drink at least 8 cups of water each day.

Track my calories daily.

Get my house organized.

Personal Information:
Living in Alaska can be a challenge at times. The darkness and extreme cold in the winter don't encourage working out, but the long, warm summer days do. Videos and workout equipment help me get in shape for the hikes, walks, and kayaking during the summer.

Thanks for visiting my blog, Kristi. I love hearing from you. Today I am spending about 30 minutes here, trying to touch base with people. Yes, I agree, it is sad the way MIL manipulates things with FIL, but part of me understands why she is doing that. She truly wants to take care of dad and keep him home for as long as possible. But he has become paranoid and hard to deal with, making that goal a difficult challenge. Her heart is right, though her method is difficult to swallow. The gloves I am crocheting are fun, easy projects. As soon as I finish the ones I am doing for friends, I want to do gifts for family. Praying for you as you journey throught he winter months. Hugs to you!
