Losing It
I am starting to diet AGAIN! I have lost and gained more times than I can count. Two of the pictures you see on here are the "me, now" pictures. I hate them but they speak the truth. A reminder of why I need Sparkpeople. I am a 42 year old Mom of 5 and Grandmother of 4 boys. Man, that makes me sound older than I feel.
I know I need to get back on it but I am having a tiny bit of trouble just getting the ball rolling. Ya, know it is always hard to get started.

My Goals:
I have basically have three goals.
1. To run a 5K
2. To be happy with myself.
3. Be comfortable in my clothes (and out)
My Program:
The things that I am doing to reach my goals are:
Walking everyday.Eat someform of fruit at least once a day.
Try to get my portions under control. EX: I dont have to have three king size bags of m & m's a day. One fun snack size will curb the chocolate monster in me.
Personal Information:
I have recently relocated to Wisconsin from Missouri. My kids have moved out on their own . I know I should having some empty nest syndrome but I dont. Is that wrong?
Other Information:
I should probably tell you about my family because I am sure that you will read about them in my blogs at some point.
Kelly = Husband/Superman
Michael = oldest son and married to Marie Etta, expecting first child
Melanie= oldest daugther with one son, Adrian
Katie=youngest daughter with two sons, Mason and Levi. Married to Chad, a soldier in the Army.
Chris(blue eyed boy)= son, soldier and recently married to
Lauren.
Austin(AJ) =youngest son, just graduated and moved out on his own.
