I'm swimming at the pool at the Regent Grand in Turks and Caicos!

I named this photo "Happy Kelly" -- the beach agrees with me!

Keeping Fit and Healthy

I'm here on Spark to continue and enrich my healthy lifestyle. I don't need to be the fittest or the thinnest, but I do want to be healthy! My main goals are to eat well (fruits and veggies, fiber, and less dessert) and exercise regularly. I'm 5'8" and have a healthy BMI. I have to eat gluten free because I have celiac disease.

I love the gym -- I never thought I'd say that! I take classes, which keeps me motivated. I aim for ~1000 fitness minutes every month. I try not to put too ...

The replacement person doesn't have strong or high impact routines. I don't see myself going to her classes. I'm going to have to enjoy Zumba on the days of the week.

Hey Kelly...I've been working with this guy for 15 years. We've become best friends this year. At his retirement party we just fell into each other and have been together ever since. It is the most amazing thing to fall in love with your best friend. I am deliriously happy and will most assuredly come back to spark...but right now I am living the dream!!!!!!!!

Thanks for the comment to my blog!

I always always wear my Garmin watch when I run....it's just habit and I love the running specific feedback it gives....

I did wear my body media for a while...but then it just got to be too much....
I'm actually considering turnings off my body media for the summer months....I don't really care to wear it during the hot months...I get too many questions and while I'm not embarrassed by it, I would rather not explain it every five minutes and then hear a million stories on ones that didn't work.....(somedays it's just too much).....I also think it helped me realize a lot that I needed to know....I learned I barely burn calories in body pump and in Zumba, somedays I can torch calories....it showed me days I wasn't active....but didn't really help motivate me to get off y butt and do something...the sleep data wasn't consistent and didn't really help me figure out why I didn't sleep good.....I believe it was a good investment...I very well might turn it on again this fall when I tend to be more sluggish....

Thanks for stopping by my blog!

Amen to that! Your comments are the same thing I'm talking about! So many of us have body image issues. Me included. I just have to keep telling myself what you're saying. Everyone is different. Besides, I believe most people are so busy cutting themselves down, they don't have time to judge me. It's pretty silly, isn't it? It has to be more about the way you feel, not the way you look.
