I have been here a million times before. I am sick of being here... at the beginning. At some point I am gonna get with the program. This time I need it to be now. I made a promise to my daughter that I would lose the weight. She will keep me on track. She is my soul. She counts on me. All 5 of my kids do - so here I am. At the beginning.




















24.6lbs gone. 26.11% (wink) of the way there. I will do it. I will get to goal. (And I am going to have to keep changing the number in this sentence to keep it right!) lol.
Losing weight is a process. Learning the process is the biggest part of losing the weight. It is so much more than calories in vs calories out. It is about being good to yourself and treating your body like the gift it is. I have done WW, JC, eDiets, Atkins, you name it. I have tried it all. Spark People is not a diet. It is a way of life. It is a way of training your mind to do the right thing for the right reasons.

My Goals:
RECOMMITTED TO SP ON JUNE 23, 2010 - TOOK A BREAK WHEN I WAS PREGNANT WITH THE TWINS, THEN THE FIRST 16 MONTHS OF THEIR LIVES. I SERIOUSLY HAD NO TIME FOR MYSELF, BUT THAT IS DONE WITH NOW... IT IS ALL ABOUT ME.

My huge overall goal is to lose 100 lbs. I have broken that down into smaller pieces.

I need balance in my life with kids, myself and my husband.



My Program:
I am keeping wthin an 1800 calorie diet and am burning at least 4200 calories a week.

Low carb due to my PCOS. Very hard for me. the GI list and I are becoming good friends...

Each Sunday I reassess my past week goals and set new ones for the week. I find that if I set weekly goals, I stay more focused.

HERE I GO AGAIN....
The 90 days of P90X I will not weigh myself. I am hoping to be pleasantly surprised. I need to get my head out of the scale and into my health. So - even though it is going to be near impossible, I am wiping my page of all numbers for now.....;)

    Happy Monday!

    I'm out of work today. No exercising for me until Wednesday—having a little procedure done on Tuesday and I am off my blood thinner. Planning to rest and relax. I enjoyed my mother/daughter day. I rocked it Friday and Saturday...Sunday not so much. But today is a new day...fresh start.
