Let's Get Started!

I am a 50 year old Texan who has put on weight in the past few years. I am much heavier than my college weight of 120, which was too little for my 5 foot 7 inch frame. I must trim my weight because after two thyroidectomies, I have limited options to rev up my metabolism. My goal is to get healthier, by losing 15 pounds, building muscle through weight training, and increasing my endurance through walking.
