Making my Health a Priority

Hi everyone! I've been using this site religiously since July of 2008, and it's been such a help to me this time around. Currently, I'm working to maintain. I am actually learning to enjoy cooking and trying out new recipes, especially from sparkrecipes! I think one of the biggest lessons I've learned is that losing weight isn't something that I can accomplish and then go back to all my bad habits from before. I've done that, and it doesn't work! My Goals:
I've been doing really well maintaining this time around :) I've found that continuing to track my food is helpful (and I've gotten so used to it that it's hard to stop!)

My goals are to maintain my weight, to continue to follow good nutrition with a few splurges, and to continue to improve my fitness level.

Physically, I would like to work on toning. I want to feel more comfortable in a bathing suit this summer :)



My Program:
eating an average of 1500-1700 calories per day.

going to the gym and doing a class with weights at least once a week.

going to the gym and doing cardio 2 - 4 times per week.

That is a great idea to get on the treadmill for the BoSox. I will try it. I hope you will let me friend you. NJ huh? I was originally a NYC gal. Thanks for the good idea.

Hey!
Omg, you just made my day! I always wondered if it was just me, but I'm glad it worked for you too! And, I'm pretty hard to soothe when I have cravings. So that tea just did something to me lol.

It's amazing how many different flavors they have out there! I think of it like my treat...so instead of getting cookies or something, I get a new flavored tea. Let me know if you explore and find another one!

I think I have at least 2-3 cups a day. I figure, as long as it is all natural and decaf it can't hurt the body right?
