Hi all. I've been on Sparkpeople since I was a junior in high school, now I'm two years out of college! I didn't start actually losing weight until I graduated from college and moved out on my own. I started teaching and I had my dog with me. I credit those two things with losing 35 pounds. When I got rid of processed sugars and cafeteria food I found that I naturally cooked healthy food.

I'm now 24 and 50 pounds down. I've maintained the loss for about a year but I'm kicking it into gear to lose the last 20 or so pounds. I'm also looking at getting in better shape. Honestly, the last 50 was due to dieting alone and I'm not in that great of shape. As cliche as it sounds, I'd like to look good in a swimsuit for the first time, and I'd like to be more athletic.

My Goals:
At my heaviest I was 221 pounds and a size 16. Currently, I weigh 170 and I wear a size 10. I'm currently finishing up the first week of BeFit in 90. I hope to start toning and reach my goal weight of 150.

My Program:
I'm a teacher in a rural community. I have a boxer mix that I love to walk on the hills surrounding my house. I've started the BeFit in 90 program and I am loving it so far. I also have a spin bike that I use for cardio and I do kickboxing for cardio.
