Ok, here's the deal...

Not fat as a kid. Always active. Spent tons of time playing basketball, football, baseball, hockey, running.

Then I went to college. Discovered beer. It was all over at that point.

Now as a television producer/director, I spend a lot of time in dark edit suites and dark design rooms and dark studios and dark...

The point is, if I don't make exercise a destination, it's not going to come to me.

With the SP support (and those around me here in my own little real world), I'm confident that I can meet that thinner me again. I miss him.

My ultimate goal is to be pulled over for speeding and have the police officer look at my license and say "That's not you."

Thanks for the comment on my blog, I hope things are going ok with your Dad, I'm sorry to hear he's in the hospital.

I'm doing much better now and I stayed perfectly on track with food yesterday and so far today too. Thanks again! :)

Sooooo...how less jubbly and more lovely do you think you'll be this week?! haha. Thanks for the support as always...I'm not sure exactly what would help me get back on track other than a kick in the rear...but it's pretty hard to stretch over to reach so might just have to kick myself instead! Is lovely of you to offer your help though...if I think of anything or if you have any ideas please let me know!

By the way...hunger strike?!?! Who's going on a hunger strike?!?! I think they'd give negative points...boo! Plus you'd not have any food to log so wouldn't win points! And points make prizes. Well not really...but still!

Good morning. I read your post on the diet coke debate - and I really liked the advice about adding fiber to drinking water. I added you as a friend. I'm brand-spanking-new to SP and a young Luddite; so I don't know the 'friending' protocol... do we have to go on vacation together or carpool or something?

Hello!

I'm SO sorry I haven't yet commented on your page! You've been so nice and supportive on mine, it'd be nice if I'd return the favor huh?? :)

Sounds like we're both on our way to being successful with our first 5k's! :) I got up and ran 2.85 this morning, it's getting tougher each week adding an additional minute of running but it's been effective up to this point so I'm going to stick with it and hope for the best!

How far are you running and how often are you running in a week??
