Hi Everyone.

First: I am a Christian. Jesus is my Lord and Savior and I strive every day to be more like Him.

2nd and 3rd: I am a wife to an amazing man of God. We have survived 12 years of many trials and tribulations and finally in August of this year, became husband and wife. I am also a mommy to a crazy, loud, smart, beautiful, and loving 9 year old daughter.

I am an aunt to three beautiful little girls who amaze me every day at how much they are growing and maturing.

I am a daughter to an amazingly strong woman. My mom has worked full time, raised two daughters, survived the death of her husband and best friend (my daddy), survived a debilitating stroke, and who wakes up every day loving each of us more than yesterday.

I am morbidly obese. I have struggled with my weight for as far back as I can remember. I was always the "funny" friend never the "pretty" one. This is great because I can tell a joke like no oneís business but hindered me in my self-image for a very long time. I lost about 60 pounds when my daughter was two and was taking very good care of my health. When my dad died suddenly, I began to use food as a cover-up for my broken heart. It took me a very long time to realize that the weight will never come off if I don't begin to heal my heart first.

I have two doggies, a beagle, Spunky, who will be turning 11 in May and a Pomeranian, Snowball, who is 4. We just moved into an apartment temporarily so they are staying with my mom and I miss them very much. I cannot wait to wake up again with them jumping on my bed and barking to get up.

My goals in life are:

I will restore my body to how God intended it to be

I will eat food that will nourish my body and give me the strength I need to function at my best.

I will exercise at least 30 minutes each day.

I will continue to put God first and work every day to be more like Him

I will spend more time with my family playing board games and playing outside instead of laying on the couch after work because I think I am exhausted.

I will no longer make an excuse for my weight or lack of exercise.
