Hello Sparkpage, I have not been here in a little while, I am sitting here at my desk arms and abs sore from a very hard workout yesterday. My husband is now coming to the gym with me and that is great fun, not only relationally, but for us to do activities together that do not involve food.

Recently, I have a health scare, I had a free assessment done and all of my numbers came back extremely high, my blood sugar, cholesterol and even my blood pressure. Well that was a reality ...
Hello Sparkpage, I have not been here in a little while, I am sitting here at my desk arms and abs sore from a very hard workout yesterday. My husband is now coming to the gym with me and that is great fun, not only relationally, but for us to do activities together that do not involve food.

Recently, I have a health scare, I had a free assessment done and all of my numbers came back extremely high, my blood sugar, cholesterol and even my blood pressure. Well that was a reality check for me – I made an appointment with a new doctor and had all new blood work completed as well a physical. All of my numbers back GREAT – THANK GOD, I did not know what to do scared out of my mind that I would have a pre-mature death without living and completing this life that God had for me…..well back on track and on track with my man….we are focused on what God has for us mentally, physically and spiritually……

My Goals:
My first goal is to make sure that I am healthy. After my annual physical I was released to do what I needed to do to lose the weight. I have never been slim and I will never be slim, however, I can be the best that I can with what I have. My original goal was to lose 50 lbs but I have since re-evaluated and determined that I want to be at a healthier weight, it may be 50 lbs or 40 lbs. I re-evaluate on a regular bases. I have gone done 2 dress sizes and am looking forward to going down 1 or 2 more, which will be a good size for me.

My Program:
I workout 3/4 days a week (sometimes 5) I alternate between, abs and weights and always 20 to 60 minutes of cardio. I also eat 5/6 small meals a day, each meal consisting of a protein, fibrous carb and complex carb. It really works!

Personal Information:
I am 49 year old wife, mother of 2 grown children. I love the LORD with all my heart and soul. I am a who 5 ft 3 in tall and you can see my weight struggles.....lol

I visited your page today and you are an inspiration to me. We are the same age, I work full-time and have been trying to take a class here and there. Sometimes I get discouraged and stop but listening to you has motivated me to try again. Your words of advice to you are for all of us. Congratulations on your achievements! emoticon
