I'm a classic yo yo dieter. I go down 50lbs then go up 65lbs. I have to lose then maintain which doesn't last long. I get into the 'I've already blown it today so throw open the cupboards then head for the candy store!!' mentality. And of course, I'll start fresh on Monday.
Need to change for my health.

"The common conception is that motivation leads to action, but the reverse is true....action precedes motivation. You have to "prime the pump" and get the juice flowing, which motivates you to work on your goals. Getting momentum going is the most difficult part of the job, and often taking the first step is enough to prompt you to make the best of your day."

"Start today, not tomorrow. I don't care what your addiction is or if it's a dream, do not wait for tomorrow because it'll never come or it'll come 10 or 15 years later and you'll have wasted so much of your life and your dreams.
Start today: whatever the problem is - start fixing it today."

Hi,, thanks for commenting on my blog. Our stores around here don't have Stash tea, but I did order a chocolate tea sampler from Republic of Tea! I just sent the order in a couple of days ago, so I will have to wait a while to get it but its fun to have something to look forward to.
Have a great weekend!

I read your question about the 17DD on another members blog so I'll try to answer. There are three 17 day cycles designed for weight loss and to avoid plateaus and a 4th cycle for maintenance. It's not a fad diet. All the major food groups are represented although not in the 1st 17 days which cleanses your body of all the toxins. By eliminating toxins with clean eating you also eliminate cravings and hunger. More foods are added back in in cycle 2 and the rest in C3. You don't count calories or carbs.

I have been on so many diets I can't even count them and was never successful until this one. I have been on it for 6 months and lost 60 pounds. I have CFIDS/fibromyalgia but after 5 days on this diet I felt better than I have in years! It teaches you pay attention to how your body feels so you don't want to go off of it and gain the weight back, but if you do gain a few pounds you just go back to C1. Yoyo dieting is very dangerous to your health so check it out!
