To lose 20 pounds. Initially, I'm focusing only on making exercise part of my daily routine. After I feel that it has become a habit, I will then focus on what I eat. I'm taking it all very slowly this time.
The time for action is now. It's never too late to do something.
I'm working out pretty consistently and eating a lot better than I was. I graduated in May and moved back home the beginning of August, so it's been much easier to eat better since then. I love cooking, so I try to see how I can change my recipes to make them healthier. I'm really into eggplant and different kinds of squash right now.
It is getting harder as I go. Those first several pounds just jump off, and then the work starts! Haha. It's slowed down a lot, but coming down a bit at a time.
I'm mostly just trying to be really consistent with my food choices, especially when with friends. It's hard, but paying off! :)
Thanks for adding me and for the congrats! I was out of town and haven't been on here for a couple of days. I hope everything is going well. :) It's hard to stay motivated sometimes, but it's tons of fun when you get close to/meet a goal. Take pics of yourself and measurements so you can really see the change!
We should be weight loss buddies since we have such similar goals!
