Nice hearing from you. Yes, let's hope you can make a profit with the crops. I'm staying busy editing books, manuals, and other things, and continue to fight worsening back problems. But I still get around on two feet. -- Lou 29 days ago
Soybeans look good for being no-till. Planter did not go fully into ground on 3 acres, replanted them yesterday. Now all we need is prices to go higher, no room for error on profit margin. Farming is so much fun. 😀 29 days ago
Hey Skeeter~ I'm cool with old kid. LOL So good to hear from you. Thanks for stopping by my blog. So I've finally got a little land. Just closed on a house with a few acres and still working on the back 22. (I know it's usually the back 40 or the lower 40), but that's a tad much for me to handle. Do you have chickens? The first morning in our new home and I got to see a deer. :) But I don't want her in my vegetable garden! lol And I need to get barn cats. Melody 40 days ago
Thanks new sparkie friend for the awesome crown goodie...I LOVE it! Thanks even more for you caring and insightful comments that came with the goodie. I love my sparkling friends...they are the most supportive and wonderful people on planet earth!
My daddy was a farmer when I was a little girl in Iowa...but even after we moved to the 'big city' he still put his gardens in and tended his acreage for corn. Farming is the most important job in the world..and one of the hardest also!
