WOW!!! Where do I begin!!! I have walked crawled, clawed myself up and down and around this mountain more times than I care to even admit. To others and to myself. I have lost and gained and lost and gained...and gained...and gained!!!!
I have been on Sparks for years and it is such a huge part of my health plan. I am a low-carber and lost 60+ lbs in 9 months about 6 years ago. Feeling great and doing great. Then hit a crisis of sorts and let satan (yes...little s), just get the best of me and tell me I was not as important as the issues in front of me. Thing is...I KNOW better. But I let it happen.
Fast forward to the present age...I am totally mission-minded and set to win the prize before me...ME!!!!! I have to do this for me and for me to serve God. He lives in me as His Temple does and I have nearly destroyed that with my selfishness and pride.
I am back in the saddle ad God is in charge. I will do it this time. First for God, then me, then those who love and support me. There are many who do. I am a very Blessed lady.
1. To be able to see my feet again when I am standing up.
2. To wear zip up jeans, shirt tucked in, and a belt again.
3.Get out and stay out of the Plus Size Dept. THIS IS A GOAL I HAVE MET!!!
4. To cross my legs comfortably. THIS IA A GOAL I HAVE MET!!!
5. To wear my wedding dress again.
6. To lower my blood pressure and get off meds.
7. To get healthy and stay that way.
I weigh more now that I have ever in my life and way more than I ever thought I would. I do want to get back to a "healthy" weight and stay there. My oal "used" to be to get rid of all this excess baggage. I guess it still is, but that is secondary.
I want to lose the weight...badly. But my main goal is to GLORIFY my Lord Jesus Christ. If my body is broken and not healthy because of what I have done to it...then I need to change that. GOD cares about more than my physical body. He cares about my emotional and spirutual body.
1. Low Carb. A little Atkins, South Beach, Stella Style.
2. To drink at least 12 glasses of water a day.
3. To walk at least 3-4 times a week and to wear my pedometer faithfully.
4. Strive for at least 10,000 steps a day + my power walks 3-4 times a week.
5. Use my Exercise Ball, weights, stretch bands, and ropes at least 3-4 times a week.
6. Get my hormones in check with Progesterone Creme.
7. Remember to take my vitamins and nutrients. DAILY.
8. Track ALL food/liquids every day.
My mind-set has to be different and I have to eat to live, not live to eat.
NOW...that IS a new way of thinking for me. I am asking for prayer to keep me on the right track. I am committed to keeping on track, and to stop the bad habits that got me to this point. Things I know are contributing to making and keeping me fat and that are just not good for me. It is a work in progress.I am finally seeing progress.

1). Fibromyalgia Busters. I encourage you to check us out. I would love to have others who have F.M. give us an input and support as well as to encourage others who batle this disease. I have F.M., but it DOES NOT have me!!!
2). Genealogy Sparks for those who love to do their family Genealogy.
3). Bible Study Fellowship Ladies.This is for women who are inrolled in BSF this year.
